The Problem

More tutoring isn’t always the answer.

A student can have excellent teachers and tutors and still underperform.

Why? Because academic performance depends on more than understanding individual topics.

Students also need to know what to prioritise, how to revise, how to manage competing deadlines, how to analyse their mistakes and how to remain consistent over months — not just days.

That’s where academic coaching comes in.

What Aurion Does

One team looking at the bigger picture.

Academic Coaching

Study strategy, goal setting, planning, accountability and performance reviews.

Expert Tutoring

Subject specialists who help students close specific knowledge and exam-technique gaps.

Exam Strategy

Mock analysis, revision planning, past-paper strategy and preparation for high-stakes examinations.

University Strategy

Long-term guidance for UCAS, Non-JUPAS, entrance examinations, applications and interviews.

Rather than treating each challenge separately, Aurion connects them into one academic strategy.

The Aurion System

Continuously adapt the strategy as the student’s needs change.

Who It Is For

Built for students with ambition.

The high achiever

Already performing well but wants to move from A to A*.

The inconsistent student

Capable of excellent results but struggles to reproduce them consistently.

The overwhelmed student

Has ambitious goals but doesn’t know what to prioritise.

The university-focused student

Needs academics, entrance exams and applications to work together strategically.

The independent student in development

Wants to become more organised, confident and capable of managing their own learning.

Coaching + Tutoring

Coaching finds the problem.
Tutoring helps solve it.

An academic problem might have several causes. For example, a student receiving a B in Chemistry might:

simply misunderstand several core topics
know the content but have poor exam technique
revise inefficiently
leave Chemistry until the end of the week
fail to analyse past-paper mistakes
simply need more structured practice

Sending the student to more Chemistry lessons does not automatically identify which problem exists. Aurion looks at the wider picture first.

When specialist subject support is needed, students can work with Aurion tutors in GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level and IAL subjects — always working alongside the student’s wider academic plan.

Coaching identifies what needs to change.
Expert tutoring helps close the knowledge gaps.

For Parents

Know how your child is progressing — without managing every study session yourself.

Parents often know their child could be doing more, but repeated reminders about revision can create tension. Aurion provides an external structure where goals, progress and priorities can be discussed objectively — giving parents clarity while helping students develop independence.

Depending on the student’s programme, parents receive structured progress updates covering:

Progress updates cover

academic progress
current priorities
areas requiring attention
study consistency
upcoming assessments
recommendations

Better students, not just better grades.

Grades matter. But the habits behind them matter too.

Our aim is to help students become more strategic, organised and independent — skills that continue to matter long after their next examination.
